Nestled in the breathtaking Kaghan Valley, Pakistan has gifted the world a new symbol of resilience, the largest Markhor sculpture ever created, standing tall at 105 feet high and 38 feet wide. This majestic masterpiece is not only a tribute to our national animal, but a stunning reminder of the strength, courage, and unbreakable spirit that defines Mazboot Pakistan.
Crafted over five dedicated years by engineer Muhammad Shehzad, the sculpture rises powerfully against the snow-covered peaks of Batakundi near the Shah Dawood Palace site. Its imposing form, intricate detailing, and lifelike stance capture the true essence of the Markhor, an animal known for navigating steep, unforgiving mountains with unmatched grace and determination.
Exactly like the people of Pakistan.
A Landmark That Tells a Story of Pakistan’s Grit
The Markhor has long symbolised our country’s high-altitude wildlife, embodying qualities that mirror who we are as a nation resilient, fearless, and deeply connected to our land. By immortalising it at such a monumental scale, Pakistan sends a powerful message to the world:
“We honour our heritage.
Mazboot pakistan
We celebrate our strength.
And we rise, no matter how high the mountain.“

This sculpture is not just art — it is an emotion, a statement, and a legacy.
